Armoured Regalia was born from a fascination with the lavish beauty of the past: when jewelry was not decoration, but a symbol of power. Rooted in the poetry of metalwork and inspired by Renaissance opulence, Baroque extravagance, and the dark romance of Gothic architecture, we craft alchemic adornments that feel like personal relics: rich in detail, intentional in symbolism, impossible to ignore. Handwoven by Violet, each piece is made for those who refuse the ordinary: the dreamers, the maximalists, the romantics.

The Craft

Every piece from Armoured Regalia is handwoven by me, Violet, in Los Angeles. I work primarily in stainless steel: chosen for its strength, its weight, and its quiet refusal to tarnish or diminish over time. Select pieces are crafted in silver-plated brass, and all gold work is made with either brass or 18k/24k gold-plated stainless steel. Stones are crystal, superior cubic zirconia, and semi-precious gemstones chosen for their beauty and their resonance.

Each ring is placed by hand. The weaves I use trace their lineage back centuries, to artisans and craftspeople who made armour to protect and adorn warriors. I think about that lineage while I work. I think about the person who will wear each piece: what they carry, what they want to feel, what they want the world to see and understand about them.

The act of creating is, for me, simultaneously meditative and obsessive. I lose time in it. Every piece takes as long as it needs to take; there is no shortcut in chainmaille, no way to rush the weave. That slowness is intentional. It is where the care lives.

What you receive is not just jewelry, but a personal relic. Made with ancient technique, by a single pair of hands, for a body and a soul that deserves to be adorned as such.
